A path of refinement and moral upliftment of society through theatre.

About Parishkrati
"PARISHKRATI" is not merely an organization; it is an assemblage of diverse craftsmen working for and within theatre. It is a path of refinement and subtlety heading towards the social, cultural, and moral upliftment of society through theatre. Formally registered in 2013 as "PARISHKRATI SAMAJIK SANSKRUTIK SANSTHA" (Reg. No. 07/33/01/10993/13 dated 29/05/2013), the title "Parishkrati" literally signifies the state of being refined and impeccable.
Since its inception, Parishkrati has conducted specialized theatrical workshops covering classical, folk, and martial dance forms such as Chhau, Kathak, and Kalaripayattu, mentored by leading field professionals. The troupe has had the honor of performing in renowned national and international theatre festivals, including the prestigious Bharat Rang Mahotsav (National School of Drama, Delhi), South Eastern Cultural Festival (Visakhapatnam), and Aadividrohi Natya Samaroha (Bhopal).
Our acclaimed theatrical repertoire includes "Katra Katra Zindagi" (written & directed by Mr. Satish Dave), the celebrated Malwi folk production "Sahaj Pake So Mitho Hoye" (written & directed by Mr. Rajesh Junwal, staged at Lok Natya Samaroha, Bhopal), and sharp political satires such as "Ho Sakta Hai Yeh Bhi", "No Parking on Odd Days", "Apratibimbit", and "Speed Breaker". We have also made significant contributions to rejuvenating Sanskrit theatre with classical productions like "Meghdootam", "Doot Ghatotkacham", "Karnabharam", "Abhigyanashakuntalam", "Malavikagnimitram", "Vikramorvashiyam", "Kalidas Charitam", and "Deepshikha", alongside celebrated epics such as "Abhanga Gaatha" and "Mitti Ki Gaadi".
Deeply committed to inclusivity and social change, Parishkrati has produced special plays based on the lives and challenges of differently-abled persons, including the acclaimed "Aasamaa Hai Hum", staged at the National Conference of Saksham and at Madhya Pradesh Government's historic mass ceremonies. The organization also pioneered a unique Photography Workshop for Blind Persons, widely praised by scholars and national media, while actively leading Paryavaran Yatra campaigns and afforestation drives.
