Vishwamitra Nadi Samvad

About the Event

A successful theatrical performance based on the Vedic sage Vishwamitra, titled 'Vishwamitranadi Samvad', was presented by Parishkriti Samajik Sanskritik Sanstha at the Abhirang Natyagriha of Kalidasa Academy. Following the traditional Nandi, the Sutradhar guided the audience through Vishwamitra's journey from royal conquest to spiritual surrender.

The narrative depicted the king's conflict with Brahmarshi Vashistha over the celestial cow Nandini, his severe penance, the dissolution of his ego, and the calming of the raging currents of the Satluj and Beas rivers, culminating in the manifestation of the sacred Gayatri Mantra.
