Jayati Parshvanath (Indore)
Landmark staging of the timeless drama on the life and ethical pillars of Lord Parshvanath.
About the Event
The staging of the landmark play 'Parshvanath' in Indore by Parishkriti Samajik Sanskritik Sanstha was met with thunderous appreciation. Authored nearly three decades ago by veteran mentor Satish Dave, the play continues to command extraordinary popularity with more than 1,000 successful shows to its credit.
The drama chronicles the inspiring life of Lord Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankara of Jainism, his ascetic austerities, attainment of Kevala Jnana, and the fourfold ethical pillars: Satya, Ahimsa, Asteya, and Aparigraha. The production served as an emotional reunion bringing together veteran and new artists.
