A predestinated series of summer workshops and minor theatrical works were there …..Preparing themselves for a brighter dawn since 1985 which thereafter, proved kind of striker to the idea of “Baalmanch” and so officially in the year 1988, 3rd of March begun a novel phase of respective actions. The foundry steps for Baalmanch were put into by the founder members rather the first leaflets Nitin Sethiya ,Sanjeev Malviya, Harish Poddar,Vijendra Verma, Dr.Ravi Rathore, Dinesh Raj and Mahesh Verma, patronized renowned respected veteran poet late Dr. Shiv Mangal Singh Suman, President Dr. Pawan kumar Mishra and Director Satish Dave. The inception of Baalmanch was formalized with the idea to develop an educational and cultural milieu for children via theatrical passage ,to create liberal, stress free ambience and collaborate numerous art forms for better understanding of science and literature ,to develop fresh arts by carving creative tendencies amongst children and for enrolment of leadership qualities along with thought fabrication for building responsive attitude towards national interest and social welfare in children. The activities got amplified from minor summer camps to extensive theatricals workshops, mild arts lessons to formal pottery and Origami sessions. The commencing breakthrough was attained due organising a continued uninterrupted paryavaran padyatra –“Jawahar Yatra” against abrupt deforestation which received remarkable appraisal from honorary Prime minister Rajeev Gandhi followed by yearly workshops ,exhibitions ,theatrical productions and systematized art related competitions. This fruitful voyage of baalmanch also got ornamented by distinct telly plays fabricated by director Satish Dave and performed by Baalmanchians (Members of Baalmanch )such as “chhata kaise bana”,”Rakht ko jano”, and a Docudrama titled “Sanja”.
The No. of workshops, productions and environmental works elevated with the years past and acquainted lifetime experience by working under theatre personalities like Bansi kaul, Lokendra Trivedi, Satish Dave, Nisha Trivedi, Anjana Puri, Kanhaiya Lal Kaithwas and Saptrathi Mohanty and also opportunised to act in reputed children theatre festivals like “Jashn e Bachpan”, “baalsangam”, and “Indian foundation of Arts”.
